Drum & Bass producer FD’s had our ear for more than a minute now. Describing himself as a ‘musical maven’ his productions on labels like Dispatch, Critical and Critical’s Modulations offshoot still stand up as textural works and Freddie always retains a bit of balance between the head and the feet in the way he plays.
